Description

The WG-3.5 wedge is built with black polyethylene marine grade plastic and is designed so that when attached to a Transducer Shield® and attached to a surface, it will put the transducer at the correct angle when the boat is in the water. A transducer CANNOT be attached directly to the wedge and must be paired with the appropriate Transducer Shield® for your transducer. We do NOT recommend this application on a Jack Plate smaller than 10″.

Use the WG-3.5 wedge with the Transducer Shield® TM-HX-1 (which fits the Humminbird® MEGA Side Imaging transducers XM 9 20 MSI T or XM 14 20 MSI T) on 90 degree jack plates that have a hole shot plate under the jack plate (such as Atlas jack plates).

Please note that when the transducer is attached to a set back, hole shot plate or the side of a jackplate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
