Description

The WG-LSS2-FILLER wedge is built with black polyethylene marine grade plastic and is designed to accommodate the curved set back on some Ranger boats. It is used in conjunction with wedge WG-LSS2 to attach our TS-LSS2-L (for Lowrance® LSS2) or TS-DSS3-TS (for Lowrance® Total Scan or Structure Scan 3D) or TS-LSS2-2L. The purpose of the Filler Wedge is to give the Transducer Shield and Wedge assembly a snug fit against the set back curve. The Ranger boats with curved sets backs that we are aware of are the VS Models 175, 185, 188, 195 and the Z models Z118 and Z518.

Please note that when the transducer is attached to a set back, hole shot plate or the side of a jackplate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
