Dovetail Mounting Base

Traxstech’s Dovetail Mounting Base helps keep the rod handle waist high when laid out flat to the side trolling divers, fish disks or flatlining. They also keep the butt of the rod closer (out of the way) to your gunwale if pointing the rod tips toward the sky while using with planer boards. We also offer a Dovetail Mounting Base that comes pre-assembled with an S-17 Salty Bolt-On Rod Holder.

Dovetail Mounting Base Features

Oval base provides 45 degrees of side-to-side rotation.
Constructed from heavy duty aluminum
The back side of the block also has a pattern drilled and tapped to accommodate Scotty® & Folbe® deck-mount type bases.
