Description

The RAM BT-2 is built with high quality aluminum alloy and is black powder coated. It is designed to go in front of a Humminbird® trolling motor style transducer to help protect the transducer from impact at the front. It reduces collection of debris, keeps the transducer positioned correctly and will not interfere with the transducer signal. This item includes a heavy duty stainless steel black powder coated strap to attach the ram to the trolling motor housing.

If the eyelets for the hose clamp are broken on the transducer, purchase TWO of the RAM BT-2 to hold the transducer in place on the trolling motor. It will also be necessary to apply a bead of 3M 5200 Sealant (or similar product) along the top edge of the transducer to adhere to the trolling motor housing. Of course a transom style transducer can be attached to a trolling motor when using one of our Transducer Shields.
