Description

The SSC-2 is built with high quality aluminum alloy and is black powder coated to withstand harsh environments. The sleek hydrodynamic design reduces collection of debris, keeps the transducer positioned correctly and will not interfere with the transducer signal. It is designed to fit the Lowrance&reg pod transducer PDT-WBL (106-74) for trolling motor installations only. It is not necessary to replace your transducer if the transducer “arm” is broken, as long as the transducer cable is intact.

Easy do-it yourself step by step installation instructions are included. One strap/hose clamp (not included) is required to attach the Transducer Shield® to the trolling motor housing. We recommend our heavy duty stainless black powder coated straps when purchasing the SSC-2 Transducer Shield®.

The SSC-2 is not designed for transom installations. For transom installations, use the Spring Back Bracket SBB-5 and/or the Armor Plate AP-LOW.

The SSC-2 can be used to fit a Garmin Pod transducer with a slight in-house modification. If ordering this Transducer Shield® to fit the Garmin transducer, please call to place your order over the phone.
