Description

The TS-LSS2-2L wedge is designed to put the transducer at the correct angle when the boat is in the water. This sleek and economical product includes a black marine polyethylene wedge and high quality 6061 black powder coated base plate to fit the 10-1/4″ Lowrance® LSS2 structure scan transducer.

The TS-LSS2-2L can be installed as follows :

  • On a set back / step under the hull. Good candidates for this application are Ranger 400, 500, 600, Z Comanche and some 100 series, some Nitro boats, some Champion boats and some Blazer boats.
  • On Ranger boats which have a curved set back but you will need to also add the item WG-LSS2-FILLER to your order. The Ranger boats that we are aware of with curved set backs are the VS models 118, 175, 185, 188 and 195.
  • On a 10″ or 12″ hole shot plate/baffle plate (this is a plate which covers the under part of the jack plate). However, it is NOT a good candidate for jack plates that are at a 90° angle with the transom (such as Atlas). For these jack plates, please choose TS-LSS2-L and an L Bracket for installation on the side of the jack plate.

DO NOT choose this assembly on Atlas / T-H Marine hole shot plates.

Please note that when the transducer is attached to a set back, hole shot plate or the side of a jackplate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
